This will only allow members you approved as friends to check on your profile. 15 years old members or under will receive a MySpace profile that is already set to private. 14 years old members are allowed to have a MySpace account per terms of service. Member over 15 years of age has a few simple procedures to follow in to set your profile to private. You must be logged into your own MySpace account first in order to make these settings. Once in, click the link marked "Account Settings" at the left side of your MySpace photo. Find the box that says "privacy settings" and click the red link next to it marked "change settings". Clicking the link will bring you to a page where you can set your profile to private.

At the very bottom of the settings box, you will see "Who can view my full profile"; select "my friends only", then click the "change settings" button, and your profile will be private.
